Burnt Hallway in a Dallas Rental Unit

An electrical short in the hallway wall in this Dallas unit resulted in a scorched, fire damaged ending. Fortunately, the door isolated the damage to the hall and the adjoining room. Our first task was to remove the charred debris and then complete the demolition to start the rebuild eventually. The intermediate step was water removal and then extraction of the smoky odors to establish a livable indoor air quality. A qualified electrician had set the new wiring before we closed up the ceiling and walls with new materials. The landlord was very pleased with the final result and our cost saving techniques.
